Ode to the AIMS test

by Rachel   May 14, 2008

Sitting in the cold test room
It's like I'm sitting in a tomb
Not even a sound can be heard
Not a whisper not a word

I wonder when this test will end
And our results the teachers send
Of to the government to truly see
If any of the states are as smart as me

Most of my classmates are scratching their heads
They're so exhausted they should go to their beds
But this is not the end of our woe
There's still one more test tomorrow and we all know

Today it was just a reading one
But tomorrow will be more fun
It's the maths test i really love
To get in the door I'll push and shove

After tomorrow that will be it
And in our normal classrooms we'll all sit
It's an awful fate yes it's true
We've all got homework that is due.

***we had national testing today and i finished early so my teacher said to do something productive.***please vote and comment***
