Velocity

by Iola   May 20, 2008

There is a thunder
A pounding rumbling against my heart
Oh what a cruel blunder
The day when we got torn apart

Slamming me with velocity
Forcefully ripping me in two
Intoxicated by what has been thrown at me
Benign at what I should do

Potently crashing into a spiral
My head bumping against a wall
Grasping for all that is anti-viral
Unable to give you my all

Foundations shaken into nothings
Lying dead beneath a lit-up sky
Tightening up my heart's cucuff-links
Too drenched to even try
