STAND TALL

by Jim McMillen the man within   May 20, 2008

JUNE 23RD 1989 POEM #16

Stand straight,
Stand tall.
Stand against,
What made you fall.

Hold back,
Don't move.
Cling to what,
Made you improve!

Laugh, when you want.
Cry, when you must.
Feel, what you feel,
It will create trust.

Trust in GOD,
To set you free
What your heart (DESIRES)
Will soon come to be.

To be on your own,
(IF) that's what you want.
But if you need his love,
You won't have to hunt.

So hunt for yourself,
A surprise you will see.
Don't hurry, take your (TIME)
I'll be there if you need me.

Say, what you want.
Show, how you feel.
Search, in GODS word,
For a nourishing meal.

For your soul must eat,
And your heart heal too.
Don't ever look back,
Life is waiting for you!

This one brings some message for everyone. And some inspiration. A good piece of writing.
