Imagination

by Sora   May 21, 2008

Being hurt so much,
She can't even feel pain anymore.
Blinded by everything, just like before.
Ten fingers together,
Trying to make things better.
She should have said it before, instead of now,
He's gone, now she has to talk to clouds.

Visions and thoughts running through her head,
Sitting there, crying, tears that shouldn't be shed.
Emotions no longer set free,
She prays for him to guide her, to take the lead.

She looks up at him, he looks down at her,
He says, "Im still your best friend no matter how far away I may be"
He always seems to know when she's alone,
He's been by her side, keeping her company all along.

Even though she can't see him, she can feel his presence everywhere she goes.
She can't help but to miss him, and it definitley shows.

He saved her life not to long ago,
She wishes she could have saved his, to pay him back for all the love he's shown.
She sheds one more tear and he wipes it away,
He says goodnight and kisses her cheek, just like everyday.

This poem is one of my favorites, but not many people understand why I wrote it, or even what it means, but hopefully who ever read this will understand. (Hint: There is a reason why I called it "imagination.")

Ashlei.
