My addiction

by Tempest   May 21, 2008

Such an addiction;
such a sweet relief.
Never to have tears fall from my eyes,
Only on my skin from crimson designs.
I don't really have to feel the emotional knot inside,
For I retreat to my room with my blade and hide.
I love the shapes I make that get my problems and you out of my head,
Iâ??m not saying that I wish I were dead.
I want to live to see things work out for my friends,
And my cutting I want to contend.
Even though I am under conviction,
I can't stop for cutting is my addiction.
