Something you adore

by lost soul   May 22, 2008

There is a place where you don't feel alone. There is a place where nothing is unknown:
It's a place where love and hate collide; a place where all differences are pushed aside.
Where all the worlds' horrors are forced into rhyme. a place where two hearts can beat in time.
Where you'd walk the world to stop the crying; where you'd give your life to stop him dying.
Uninterrupted faith and constant trust, fixated love and incessant lust.
Hostile winds with their thundering cries, he holds you close and the world rolls by.
There's a palace surrounding you there, where you stand against all enemies without a care.
His arms like an impenetrable stronghold; it's a place where love starts to unfold.
Breaking apart a rejected heart.
Leaving alone a man made of stone.
That tiny trickle of tenderness captured for so long, finally forms into a river, flowing so strong.
Washes over you like a warm ocean drift, astonishes you like an unexpected gift.
Takes over you like nothing you've felt before, turns life into something you adore.
