Emotional highs and lows

Sometimes high and sometimes low
on and on our lives do go

I feel alone , I feel sad
is being my friend all that bad

sometimes happy, full of smiles
that is rare, its been awhile

my cheeks are wet from salty tears
because of life and all its fears

wanting to inspire, to be a friend
I'd love so much to see a grin

feeling hurt by others words
judging me from what they've heard

my heart is warmed by encouraging words
read on this screen but never heard

i read the words of others pain
their cries are loud but all in vain

on and on our lives do go
sometimes high and sometimes low

    What a wonderful write.... Sad, but full of truth. Sometimes our lives are "high", sometimes they're low... it's keeping on the mountain top :) Very well written and expressed. Iloved it!
