Lonely Ghost

She floats within the night
Never to be seen
I've heard here cries
Out by the old oak tree

Her voice so soft
But full of pain
Every single night
She screams again and again

She lost her one true love
And they say she is dead
But I know that voice
Isn't only in my head

She was so beautiful
And she was so forgiving
He cheated on her
But without him, her life wasn't worth living

One day he didn't come home
And she was so sad
She found a letter from him
And it drove her mad

He said he didn't love her
That she wasn't enough
How could he do this to her?
She was so sad, she couldn't even get up

But I hear her each night
Her voice so soft and so close
But I've never seen her
Because she is a lonely ghost
