RACE TO THE FINISH LINE

by 3Li0R4   May 24, 2008

I joined a race
I may not have the best shoes in the world
But I will try my very best
I look at my opponents and their shoes are very expensive
My shoes had holes and don't even look like running shoes

"READY..SET..GO!!" shouted out a man
As I run, I put my heart on the tracks
I may look like a fool running with my shoes
But I don't care..
As I run, I see the finish line getting farther away..
So I close my eyes and pray..

Next thing you know..
"And the winner is...."
So I got 1st place and basically fainted after that
So my point is racing isn't about the shoes
It's about how much work & practice a person
Had put into the race.

AND REMEMBER NEVER GIVE UP!! :)
