Once born...

by Ash   May 24, 2008

Once born to walk amongst the leaders all see,
yet distanced oneself from the reality of what used to be.
Time had cast it's shadows upon this world,
and turmoil had bent to set all along the path of ignorance uncurled.

Sorrowful days had their minds set,
as depressive thoughts conquered a mind once at rest.
Awakening of a spirit so deep inside,
yet sins had accumulated - no one wherein to confide.

At long last life had shown it's true face,
as the people around began to revel in deep disgrace.
For their own actions had led them to their doom,
and the fulfilling path be there to assume.

Life had caught up amongst the deeds so bad,
that echos of life had made them mad.
Yet their treachery had cost their own happiness,
as graves be dug for their own kin.

Fear not this life that has thorns set upon the road,
To the Almighty God our lives be owed.
He may listen and though it seems He does not care,
He will be the only one in this life upon whom you can depend.

For humans are bound to errors and ignorant ways,
and may alter your path that the devils thoughts prevail.
But the light shines bright through darkness so thick,
and interwoven in purity is God's own words now clear.

It took a lifetime to reach the path that seemed too far unbound,
ways and people had drifted one through hells own realm.
Finding the light is more than a simple task,
it's the duty of every individual soul to answer what God would ask.
