A Classroom of Symbolism

by Gabba Gabba Hey   May 27, 2008

The green horizon spreads out before me
with its delicate white clouds
that drown it in dust

Destroyed, destroyed its delicate clouds
with harsh black and white planes
held in some demi-Gods unforgiving hand

only to be replaced by new dust-white clouds
that display colorless messages
to impatiently waiting, thirsty animals.

I love how you used the word thirsty! thats exactly what chalk boards make me think of - thirst for learning in general, and the board's thirst; it seems like there is nothing that could ever be drier than a chalk board. cool ideas =)

Well, it's a bit difficult..but the first thing that crosses my mind is that it's about teacher writing things on the blackboard, wiping out again and then write new things for the students to see.

    brilliant write!
