Don't doubt the broken hearted

by Amy Jo   May 28, 2008

The pasts tomorrows are gone and stuff has been unpacked.
You can't feel whats so wrong or what emotion you've lacked.
The days grow longer as our lives shorten quick,
you don't long to hold her, yet you can't make a pick.
Once in a while she will cross your mind but since he lies beside her it helps her cope.
A love like hers, again; you'll never find. To get a new so unique you could only hope.
The tears will turn to hate and hate will stay or go.
No closure, but too much to debate; there's nothing she doesn't already know.
Crazy nights, you're wild and free. Your ambitions are weak; and your conscious won't let you be only because the truth you cannot speak.
Her eyes were full of fire, but they have a different glow.
You learn to refill desire, but what you want you still don't know.
You'll imagine your fingers tracing her thighs or your rage of her turning into passion.
Try and remember the colors in her eyes or recall her taste of love; not fashion.
The nights become easy, your heart has moved on.
The stomach is inquiry, while her memories are long gone.
Her lips you will not taste and your back she'll never scratch.
Her time again you can't waste as you are old news and not a match.
time doesn't make us stronger, it only helps us forget.
You'll never lay beside her because she has nothing left to regret.
