Behind closed doors

She's never really felt this way.
he's on her mind;
all night, all day

In the past she's tried to run.
but in her heart
he's the only one.

She knows to leave would end the pain.
she knows inside
she'll come back again.

She's got nobody else, nowhere to run
no mom no dad
he's her only one.

if she were to face her fear,
there'd be noone there
to dry her tears.

so she'll stay in his arms forevermore
unsure of life
behind closed doors.

    This poem is about a girl who has one love and no one else,but the love of her life beats her. she wants to leave but she can't which leaves her left with him unsure of life behind closed doors

    Well i like the idea that you have written this poem in a straight foward manner.Well sometimes when we have on one else in our life, our lover becomes part of our life and u have depict tt clearly in ur poem.I also like the how you made the rhyme scheme goes ABA. Nicely done5/5
