Someone Like Me

by Coinneail   Jun 1, 2008

People laughing, dancing, and smiling.
They were all so very styling,
with frills and silks, they were shrilling.
Pieces of art that weren't filling.

Unlike the others, at a table alone,
as they danced with another clone,
I watched feeling something unknown.
This feeling, until now had been postpone.

Now desperate to know, unsure
if finding it is the cure.
I am such an amateur,
I'm better off an observateur.

Unable to make the right moves,
my inability to keep them just proves,
that someone always disapproves.
I need to be the one that improves

or none will find me what they desire,
that they will want me to be their supplier
for all the love and passion they require,
that this too will be what i acquire.

Will I find such a being?
I have problems foreseeing,
anyone even at all caring,
or even taking the time and repairing
my broken heart and loving.

Someone like me.
