And I Am?

Hidden darkness hear my plea,
just let me sit here, let me be,
I cant stand not knowing,
but how to ask,
leaves me wondering,
what is left to grasp,
standing alone on this empty street,
wandering in circles, being me,
a little more is left to see,
but the question is, could this be me?
wanting and yearning for what will never come,
a life so incomplete, though almost done,
a hidden desire so unknown,
what if this isn't really me?
