Little angel of a dreamer, don't you cry.
The monsters, they aren't really there.
Close your eyes, it's time to sleep,
relax your sleepy-eyed stare.

Little angel of a dreamer, sweet dreams to you.
Written lullabies on a computer screen.
Lay down your head, darling, float away,
dream of skies of blue and grass of green.

Dreamer, dream of the future bright,
ocean hugs the sand with gentle waves.
Someday we'll be there, soon enough,
oh darling, it's just a matter of days.

So little angel of a dreamer, close your eyes.
Tomorrow we'll watch the sun pass through skies of blue.
Darling, sweet dreams I pray.
Sweet dreams of a future for me and you.

    Oh my, Gabby! I think you've really outdone yourself here, hunni. It was very beautiful.. your sweet words calmed and relaxed me. I'm sure that if someone was by my bed saying this all to me, I would drift off to sleep and dream of only happy things.

    I think my favorite stanza would have to be the second one. Only because of how you rhymed things up. The entire stanza just came together perfectly and I thought it was very beautiful. It was just... so realistic to me. Especially the last line. Thinking of blue skies and grass of green was just the highlight of the entire thing. I loved it, babe. Very creative.

    You don't really see a lot of lullabies on this site. And I'm really glad you wrote one. It was sweet, beautiful, touching, and really did work out for you. The opening was great and the last stanza wrapped the entire poem up perfectly. Great job, dear. This shows how caring you are and I would like to see more like this. Love ya, babe. 5/5 <3 <3 <3 <3
