Im here lying in my bed
Drowned in the darkness of my room
My mind wandering through the past
Realizing nothing or no one will really last..

I still remember those days
We were younger..
Brother, sister, and me..
We were the best of friends
They're the best company
There's love in the air
Peace and friendship everywhere..

But today is today
When arguing is all that I could smell..

I still remember those days
After school I would run to mom
Tell her everything that happened
Til my mouth becomes tired of talking

But today is today
When all she knows is my name..

Today is a time when there are no such things
as a home, a family, or friendship
Its when what you called home becomes hell
And family becomes the worst enemy

Family no longer brings you love and hope
Instead they give heartaches and frustrations..

But I still remember those days..
Really I do..
When we go to church on Sundays
Then the whole family goes out for dinner
Laughter is all you can hear
And love is whats in between
And joy is shining as bright as the sun..

But today is today..
When what you once called family is gone..

Must remember my loves being a child can and can not be the best time for a person but for most it is. arguing every one has it , every family and as much as we wish we didnt we do.. its part of life its nothing new. but time will heal the pain and arguing just keep up faith and hope.

but all in all its a good poem

It is sad poem. I think childhood is the happiest time for many people... Why? Because we were young and innocent and everything was very simple.

Relationships change when children grow up. You don't look up your parents like you use and you start criticizing people around because your mind has developed and you have become more objective than you used to.

But when you will get over these hard years of life, younghood... You will see that your relationship is getter closer again...

A nice poem, I wish you figure out a nice title for it.
