I'm Fine

by MadisonMetamorphosis   Jun 6, 2008

Fake smile, green eyes. Broken heart, secret lies.
And make-up to cover it all.
Falling tears, sad thought's. Don't know wether to hurt, or not.
"Anyone else? Final call."
Friends come and go, along with a few sorry foes.
People ask me to forgive, forgive them for not being there.
But you were, and you still care.
You were there for me more than I was for you.
Truth is I always knew.
Noone saw this coming, noone could have guessed.
I knew unlike the rest.
My parents come and cry, the one I loved weeps "goodbye."
Memorable past, many years. Many laughs, many fears.
But there were hearts we didn't mend.
Many tears, deathly regrets. I'd repeat it all, so I'd never forget.
But everything must have an end.

Now this is mine.
I wish I wouldn't have said
"I'm Fine."
