The Truth

by MadisonMetamorphosis   Jun 6, 2008

When you hear this emotions may build up,
Or you may feel nothing at all.
But you WON'T feel the truth.
Exactly how true everything I write is,
That I really do feel the way I write.
I'm looking for help,
But you push me down,
You say I'm too smart for this.
Well what if I'm not?
What if I don't understand?
Just because you don't believe the things I say,
Realize the words I write,
That doesn't make them a lie.
That just makes you a fool.
As the lines get shorter,
The meaning grows,
The more I seek help,
The less I receive.
Listen to me.
Don't speak.
This is no excuse.
This is truth.
'Cause I'm not as good as you.
