when i cried myself to sleep?
where were you when i hurt myself?
when i cut far to deep?

where were you when they punched me?
when they kicked me to the floor?
where were you when they admitted me?
when they locked me behind that door?

where were you when i was on that bridge?
when i was ready to jump?
where were you when i drank to much?
when my home was a dump?

where were you when i took that tab?
when i just needed to feel numb?
where were you when i slept with them?
when all i felt was scum?

where were you when i had my fist full of pills?
when i was willing to die?
where were you when i looked at myself?
when all i did was cry?

where were you when i needed you?
