Gray

by MuffinOfDeath   Jun 7, 2008

Gray dawn.
Same day in a shade of gray.
People wake up from their gray dreams.
They go to work or their gray school.
It's actually not important.
Since the gray people.
In the same gray suits.
Holding the same gray briefcases.
Walking down the gray asphalt.
While watching the children play, in their gray school uniforms.
They ride the gray subway train
To the gray factory.
Where gray smoke rises.
From the gray chimney.
Then the gray children walks home.
While a gray rain pours.
On the gray sidewalk.
To the gray houses, identical to all the others.
A whole block of gray.
Under the gray sky.
The adults drive home in their gray cars.
On the busy gray highway.
A screeching sound travels over the gray countryside.
And gray eyes open in fear.
As the nuance of gray that had been covering the world, was changed into red.

Thanks! ^_^ The reason i hid them in my notebook, is because I'm pretty insecure of my poetry.
Almost everyone i know thinks it's very wierd to write poems, and it doesn't help when they steal your notebook and read it. >_<
As you might have noticed, I've tried to avoid any kind of rhymes, as I am not very fond that.

I didn't think that you could write something THIS deep...
But then again, I've never read any of your poems before...
...Why do you hide them in your black notebook?
How could you even think of depriveing mankind from your poetry.
    It's bloody brilliant!!!
