World of the enlightened.

The world sickens me.
The infested planet we call Earth.
As a plague, humanity razes the world.
Instead of the tree’s green crowns, we make artificial street lamps.
Instead of the refreshing grass, we cover the ground with asphalt.
As if we try to hide away our sin.
The small green there is left in this world is raped daily.
Why must we scourge the place of our existence?

We live in dying towns, filled with hate and malice.
People live in fear of each other, is frightened by even the smallest shadow.
Beggars lie in the streets and rot, while prostitutes give themselves up to greasy men.
Disease and infections, spread with the haste of the light.
Lifeless bodies are decomposing, while people walk past, pretending not to see.
Children covered in blood are born in alleyways, falling into the ooze of the sickness, drowning.
Humans are corrupted by money, worthless piece of paper which controls the flow of the world.
Dark deeds are done, by dark creatures once human, covered in the blood of the innocent.
Pompous religions spread their word, offering fake salvation to those in need.
Darkness covers the sun in unreal eclipses, aiding the criminals in their work.

I sit in my window looking at the stars, untouched by the grotesque monster known as human.
And I think, this must be hell, humans must be devils.
No other creature could be as sickening as we are.
