My Mom

by H E Losey   Jun 8, 2008

Her hair is white
Her back is bowed
For all her life
She has carried the load

She has enjoyed the good
And has endured the bad
Giving all her love
To her only lad

Now in the twilight
As her years grow few
Her man/boy returns
Their closeness to renew
