Soul Mates

by Nic39uy   Jun 8, 2008

You have heard this countless times
From many other guys and girls that you know
And I can't say that I am no different
But I'll prove myself that I differ from them

They say that you're my world, my one and only,
That you complete me or that you're my soul mate
All that can be said by any human being
And yet many never hold true to it

You might find that one lucky prince charming
A rare find indeed, so don't let go of him
Same can be said about you girls
Our other counter half...

I have to be honest about it
A life without a girl would be harsh
A cruel and an usually punishment
To all mankind, we need a woman's love and touch

I've been fortunate and finally found her
Though there are countless stars
Out there to make my wishes come true
I wouldn't give her up for another

She is my lovely dove
The one I know I can't live without
For if she were to die
God forbids that happens

I would miss her dearly
I would mourn her death
And wish to join her at all cost
I'll willingly give my life up to justify my love

*Doves, once they found a soul mate they stay true to each other for life and death. Therefore if one of the other dies, they will mourn for their love and die along with them.
