Missing You

There's something that has yet been said
Those three words that I've eagerly want to utter
Tried to force it out but all that comes out are empty sighs
Why is it so difficult for me to convey these words?

These words use to be spoken so freely
Yet they are restricted within my heart
Thought these words would've been spoken first
And yet not even a hint of it is noticed

Every time I have a chance to spend time with you
I'd try to express these thoughts but I cower in fear
Yet I have no reason to be afraid to let you know
The truth that I hold dearly deep within my heart

With each passing day that I withhold this thought
My sanity starts to lose it grip on reality
My mind is overwhelmed with only thoughts of you
The longer we are apart from each other...

With your absence by my side, I've always
Thought I would forget and move on without you
But I was dearly wrong about that
Wanting to move on whether without you
It mattered...our friendship matters...
All I can do is think about is how..."I Missed You"
Didn't think I could miss someone so much
As much as I miss you, my dearest friend...
