Love me anyway

by Jessica   Jun 9, 2008

You made my world a new
You kept me safe throw distance
You loved over such space
So why do I hurt?

You've changed from what I remember
You don't see my emotions anymore
You don't listen to what I m saying
You don't watch what your hurting

You think that distance is a weakness
And so it must be yours
My weakness is in boundaries
Which you say we cannot love because of these

But I love anyway

I love more then what is called for
I don't mean to get involved
I don't mean it so easily
Its just who I m and who I need to be

You may not believe in distance anymore
You think of only the land you are on
Never seem to think of the other island just above
Holds a heart that used to be dear to you

But I love anyway

Maybe time will tell me its secretes
You might be able to gain your heart again
Or you may just turn to stone
Never once again speak of the one whom once held your soul

You trusted me with your heart
And I held it close to mine
I mended it as best as I could
And you did the same to mine

But now its shattered glass
Waiting to be healed
A hope long gone
Please, if you still care

Love me anyway

*this poem dose not rhyme or anything, messed up stanzas i no, but it came from the heart and could not be stopped. Now i can't fix it ether because this is the truth and to fix the truth is to lie*

I loved this poem because its like a past experience that i both enjoyed and now hate, I agree with DonPerro that a poem doesn't have to rhyme or anything like that as long as it has meaning to it and you head that on the head real hard.

You know something I know how you feel, I've been through something like that before. Poems don't have to rhyme, it's about the feeling, and that's what it had so great poem. :)
