A Dove's Journey

by Jessica   Feb 9, 2010

She let fly a snow white dove,
To send a message to her love.
On the parchments secret writ,
The words that set her heart alit.

Powered feathers thrust downward,
Like graceful winters treasure.
Powered feathers thrust downward,
Downward,
Downward.
Powered feathers thrust downward,
Like their hearts beats steady drum.

Over the valleys that pass by,
Is her love for him, see it fly.
The wind carries their bright love,
On the wings of a turtle dove.

Don't cry about the distance,
Or about social resistance.
Dreaming sweetly of bonding,
Soon there will be a new dawning.

The suns bright light be rising,
To lighten the day ahead.
The suns bright light be Rising.
Rising,
Rising,
The suns bright light be rising,
To light entwined paths ways.

When morning bells ring sweet tones,
There he will stand all alone.
Where she finds and joins him for,
A kiss that will bind them and more.

Upon her message at birth,
Is a thousand words of its worth.
In the end it turns to three,
And that is simply, I love thee.

A simple call like chanting,
Tells a hearts only calling.
A simple call like chanting,
Chanting,
Chanting,
A simple call like chanting,
Tells her heart's only whisper.
I love thee,
I love thee,
I love thee.
