Until we meet again

Teary eyes and broken hearts
loved one cruelly torn apart
misery and sadness deep within
praying one day their hearts will mend

family and friends all dressed in black
hoping one day you will come back
wishing you could still be here
crying because you are nowhere near

you fly in heaven on wide spread wings
laughing and smiling as you sing
and we stand here in this world so big
waiting until we meet again.
