Hope & Devine

Another day in the devils depts
To climb this mountain of everlasting steps
And prove to God I will not fail
Carrying this burden along the trail

And when I reach the heaven above
To see the angels and holy dove
The chain that bound me snaps and falls
Breaking down my sinfull walls

I bare a gift of hope and devine
The bread of christ and holy wine
I pass along to those of plenty
I no longer feel so lost and empty

But still Im here in hell below
And wait for him to let me go
He sets his mind on change for me
As I must stay for eternity
