My bargain

by Steph   Jun 12, 2008

Creeping up the steps to this foreign house
fear is overwhelming, I'm quiet as a mouse
now walking through the front door
intense feelings shooting through my core.

All i can see are figures of black
i feel the chills ruining down my back,
and the burning from their stare
as i taste the bitterness in the air.

they lead me into a pointed tower
i started to sense all his dark power
here i saw the brightened flames
he said he could take away my shames

another chance at life is what i got
until my times up, then in hell i will rot.
mine body and soul is his for the take
to him i submit, for this is my fate.
