When it rains, it pours (song)

by Dustin S   Jun 16, 2008

--I always thought when it was raining god cried.
Surprisingly, that sayin stuck but yet never died.--

Lost on the street, storm overhead,
I am stuck wishing I listened to what was said.
My car has wrecked and crashed,
Has flipped over, turned and mashed.
Not only that, but my heart is also smashed.
Because I look up and it's raining,
I'm so sorry is now what I'm saying.
So, I start to head home not knowing what to do,
Execept think all the way home of you.
Remembering that night when we're alone,
I thought the world was my to own.
But that feeling is long gone,
That feeling that left me up. Left me strong.
It's gone. I'm solo. Now I am to know,
That I loved you wherever you'd go.
I sit down on the side of the curb,
And say, is I <3 what I just heard?
No. That was a lie. Here we go. I cry,
Because people don't really know I try,
To get her back, but wanna die,
Cause she says it can never be you and I.
No. Please stop it! Tell me it's a lie!
Stop gettin worked up. It's your voice,
Speakin to yoself deciding on rejoice.
SKID! The crash replays in my head,
And think to myself, Why Aren't I dead?
Then I realize the blood stained,
My clothes and got wet when it rained.
Just out of the corner of my eye I see,
A girl. Young, angelic, and bueatiful lookin at me.
She doesn't say a word, but yet I'm speechless.
For a split second, I thought it was....unlesss,
Yes it is! She comes over, gives a kiss,
And says to me, "Babe, you are who I miss."
"I am here. I am now nothing but yours."
"Now listen, the rain's sayin:

When it rains, it pours"

I like this one a lot.
The title grabbed my attention right away...
and when I was little, I thought the same thing. :)
When it thundered, he was so sad and angry, but when lightning struck, his temper was flaring. On cloudy days he was bored. He was happy on really sunny days, of course... :P

Haha, well, this was fantastic, and I look forward to reading more. Keep it up!
