Twisted Shades of Beauty

by lisabrighteyes   Jun 16, 2008

Oh, what shades of green
Your jaded eyes they shine
Brightly, oh so brightly
Slick from tears, you'll never cry
At least, not when they can see.

Oh, what shades of red
Your bloody wrists portray.
Beautiful, so beautiful
Artwork down your arms
Splendor they'll never see.

Oh, the shades of black
Your heart within becomes
Lovely, oh so lovely.
Like the depths of the sea.
If only they could see.
