Do You Have the Faith

Do you have the faith to jump, to fall, to descend and hope that a hand extends?
Do you have the conviction, that this isn't a contradiction?
That even since you've seen her, feelings have transferred
And what has occurred are questions like "I wonder if she too is convinced?"
That this is love in the present tense, In my defense these emotions
Are intense, and are with no pretense, of either of our hearts expense
Do you have the faith to jump, to fall, to descend and hope that a hand extends?
A belief that love transcends what we cannot comprehend
But some pretend, wearing a mask to hide their evil tasks
Whispering you to leap, while you lay there asleep, she still speaks,
Of her devoted love while she is a wolf clothed as a sheep
Do you have the faith to jump, to fall, to descend and hope that a hand extends?
So take a dive, knowing that someone might not catch you, in need of a rescue
There was no hand to grab onto, premeditated she already knew
As I fall I try to construe, the untrue, of every lie about you
Do you have the faith to jump, to fall, to descend and hope that a hand extends?
