Memories

Memories are unendingly passing us by.

No matter how much you want to remember them...
No matter how much you want to forget them...
The time you spend in that memory is temporary;
Even though they can come back and haunt you until your end.

As time slips away impetuosly, so can those memories.
It's up to us to keep them alive;
The evil and also the joyous ones.
Although I don't always take heed to the great beyond precisely.

I occasionally want to prolong certain moments;
But continuously there are sufferings and pain i wish to end.
I don't want to remember them but they are etched into my mind.
All these missfortunes and troubles that life takes me through always seems to teach me somthing.

They made me into which I am today, so I don't take them back
But still..which to keep and which not to...
They are all of importance and its not like we can just lose the bad and keep the good.
I guess the only wise thing we can do is go on and make new ones.
