Another circle

by Toni   May 31, 2004

Another day spent in dull rotation
Spinning on my own
Bitter thoughts hung in high floatation
Sadness is re-grown

Heart-rending patterns fill the scene
My ever wilting smile
Every morning my callous routine
Singing all the while

Perpetual tears cloud my face
Blinding my view
My pallor complexion cannot trace
Hope that i once drew

Chiselled actions violently collide
As I taste the ice
Waiting for this pain to subside
Playing with death's dice

Pivotal habits help to deplete
A shrivelled longing soul
Desolate shores struck by a fleet
Happiness they stole

Tomorrow a centrifugal motion
Subliminal distress
Eveery day a recycled motion
Of my burying mess
