Washing the World Away

The second Eve bit into that apple
The world was doomed for a curse.
Deadly thoughts of ignorance
Can truly show the worst.

We can't rewind time
We sure as hell can't take it back
This is driving me insane
Hopefully one day we can relax.

Sins there all around us
The world is simply falling apart.
Being consumed in hate and evil
Where can I even start...

We sit here rich and poor
Nothing equal allowed in this life.
Always ignoring and walking out the door
Not facing your own strife.

What is truly washing the world away?
Is it you...Is it me...
I feel were covered in filth,
So lets wash away this pain.

Sometimes I want to start a new,
Just to take away everything.
