Darcy's caged rage

Commitments are defining,
My days and restless nights.
The unrelenting chanting,
too much for me to fight.

Words claw my fragile smile,
Try to turn it upside down.
Rusting nails pierce my heart,
I scream with silent frown.

I bite my tongue and swallow,
This metallic tasting blood.
It fills my guts with poison,
These resented waters flood.

I can feel it manifesting,
My control is failing fast.
Such hate is burning larva,
It connects my brutal past.

If you would see me smiling,
Look in my damning eyes,
Glimpse a mind of vengeance,
Through the murderer's disguise

Antagonise, if you dare
To see if I'll explode,
Reveal my spitting demon,
His rawness is exposed.

Rage is my alter ego,
Revenge is locked away
Evil Darcy's revulsion
Is just waiting to repay.

My cell of flesh and blood
Has been stabbed for many years
Every time I had to swallow,
Cold blood or souring tears

These walls have bled their strength,
Too long I've staved his will
Darcy's rage erupting
Now born to bloody kill.

    I know of this feeling you are writing about, the feeling of being defenseless and helpless and wanting to break free from the hurt..
    Life is not fair, sweetheart..it is not that for any occupant on this earth. Grin and bear it has always been my motto, but maybe I will give in to the rage one day too and then you can visit me behind bars, lol

    I love the syntax, and pragmatics within this poem, I admire the diction you so often use and I admire this poem too, you're poetry is an inspiration to younger potential poets.

    Wow, this was absolutely amazing,
    there were so many thoughts in this poem
    I loved it and am really impressed.
    You've left me speechless,
    Your words are truly haunting and pierce the reader like daggers.
    It was such a graphic read.
