How Do You Feel??

How do you feel when you already know
that the hole deep inside you is destined to grow

that the darkness will darken, blacker then black
and the pieces that leave will never come back

and slowly but surely, minute by hour
the sweetness inside you will start turning sour

and the heart, is it there? a monotonous tone
with every beat will start turning to stone

and the blood, will it trickle? when you cut your own skin
or like everything else will it just give in

any thoughts any feelings will be lost in the maze
and the once perfect vision be blocked by a glaze

the smile, fake or not, be as tight as you hold
will slide upside down in a permanent mold

so what can you do when you already know
that the hole deep inside you will eventually show
