Seasons

by Dan   Jun 27, 2008

Autumn leaves,
Winter snowmen,
Spring flowers,
Summers love,

The autumn leaves
Slowly fall
Covering the ground
Covering the sky
With an army of red and yellow

Winter snowmen
Being rolled together
The eyes of the children
As the look out the window
Fill with the sight of this army of snowmen

Spring flowers
Of slowly blooming
The birds chirping, bugs buzzing
The beautiful scent flowing all around
To be harvested and given to that special girl

This summer
Of so much potential
That is not yet realized
That this love we have this summer
Is just a love never seen before

I came here to rest for a moment and read a few words of warm poetry and I was not let down as I found your poem and enjoyed it quite a bit. I think you did a great job and found the right words to express the thoughts your pen had pent up. Nice job…you are one with nature
