Notes

by Blutonium Boy   Jun 27, 2008

And so I sit reading your note,
It's so hard to combat the things you wrote,
You're so smart in your own little ways,
The note in itself is like a maze.

It's hard to write you a letter back,
When I know you're expecting some big attack,
But that's not what you're going to get,
It just doesn't seem like it would fit.

Maybe I don't want to fight tonight,
Maybe everything you say is right,
Maybe it makes me love you more,
Maybe it's that, which I adore.

So I will jot nice things about you,
Because I love you through and through,
Bend and fold it at its crease,
And hope you don't sign my death lease.

This isn't the end nor will it be,
Even if you make me get down on one knee,
I will beg and beg and plea and plea,
All for you to make you see,

That I need you, and you need me.
