Medical Acceptance: part 2

by Linda Kennedy   Jun 28, 2008

My effortlessness searched tirelessly
My sweat of brow could not match the wetness of tear
My pain screams in horrific terror
My wife, beyond the word of light and hope
My gift of strength and perseverance could not submit

The crowed halls of the so called accepted
The original place of denial
The young and old of the wars alike
The wish of ones own death could not be heard
The wisdoms of ones belief in ones own spirit
The words spoken, written and seen by light
The one would not be I or you

Then, look! It took just one to say
Give this man a definition of reason and he shall stay
What? A diagnosis made his ears quiver
So strenuously, and exhausted he must be
Take to truth what one might say and spend your life
Wasting away!

Now, alas I was to hope with more than just a glimpse
A being who cares about the pain
I will ex-salt no more,
My rest will come, my time is heard
I will rest in the place my wife holds dear
The light and in the hope of life

To my Husband:
