Stale Faith [Faith Grown Cold]

by The Apathetic Emo   Jun 28, 2008

Futile, it is, to
Always pray to some one who
Isn't even
There. Do you really think your pleas are
Heard? Can you imagine any
God wanting to sit around listening and
Replying to all the world's pleases
Or thank yous? So
Why ask a question that will
Never be heard? No supernatural being
Cares what you think
Only we can care. Only we will
Listen. So go and start discussing your
Dreams with people you can Actually See.

This poem is a good argument for one's belief. I like how you structured it, breaking it up so that the first letter of each line spells part of the title in brackets. You also capitalized the last two words of this which emphasized it as you're best point, discussing things "with people you can Actually See". Now I don't agree with what the poem is saying, but I do like how it's written. Well done and good to read. I got uber excited when I noticed the capitilization : )
