What Drinking Can Do

by Melanie   Jul 2, 2008

You walk out of your house
You trip and you stumble
Eventually, you will fall
To the ground you will tumble
Because you are highly intoxicated
you can't seem to live your life
The only way you will realize
is if the pain hits you like a knife
A happy, crazy thought hits you
Take your beer and get into your car
To you it's happy, but you don't realize
that it will leave a scar
You lie on the ground
Broken and shattered
Not making a sound
But none of it mattered
You knew that drunk driving
would cause you to crash
you lie there, dying
The drinking left a gash
It affected your head
It caused you to drink even more
Now you lie here, broken and dyng
And out your blood will pour
