Why do I cry when I am happy
Why do I fret when I am alone

Who is to say it isn't the strongest
feeling you will ever know

Today brings on different troubles
Yesterdays should be left in the past

Remembering will only bring on emotions
Of things that never were meant to last

Why do I cry when I am sad
Why do I become troubled so soon

Who is to say it isn't normal
to feel the same emotion in tune

It's so easy to become concerned
when life doesn't seem to be fair

But why feel do I feel all these emotions
If at times - it seems I don't care
