What do I do?

I don't know what to do
As you hug your knees and cry
Racking sobs hit you hard
I haven't a reply

Do I wrap you in my arms
And tell you it's alright?
Pat your back in comfort
And help you win the fight?

But I don't do anything
I watch the tears fall down
I try my hardest to do something
But my feet stay planted to the ground

Ashamed is how I feel
As I turn my back on you
Is it wrong to feel uncomfortable
While your heart is hurting too?
