Sonnet I - Burdens of Love

by Sam Hindmarsh   Jul 5, 2008

No burdens shall thy love carry for now,
But only when the burdens true, do set
Among the branches, pigeons and the clouds.
Burdens of love for now do not forget.
Only when tree tops' boughs bow down their heads
And summer do set on horizons.
I will love thee with all compassbions met,
For other matches can not complete sums.
Forget your trobbles and your low affairs,
For now our love is strong. I will not part
With you forever more, climbing the stairs
Where love's free burdens can not get our hearts.
Love be not close, unless it be like dove;
Flutter care free, with no burdens of love.
