Waiting

by Cheynee   Jul 5, 2008

Walk along this shore with me
As we take a journey to the past
The girl you see was of flesh and blood
She was as real as you and me
She weeps silently in the night
As she listens to her parents fight.
She prays to god or anyone who will listen
To deliver her from her sorrows

This girl you see wishes to die
But is only denied
Blood and tears fall to the floor
As she says her last goodbyes
No longer does she have to wait
For Death is here taking her in its embrace.
Who is this girl you ask
The answer is simple
This girl you see, was me
