Hollow passion

by MorbidCupcake   Jul 6, 2008

He watched her as she spoke of words that filled her heart and how the day went
Eyes intently set on her feeble body
It stood before him, ready to collapse
And as he quietly said it was time to go
She lost herself and all of her control
Falling on the ground, bent over with tears blurring her surface
He sat there helpless, not knowing what to do
She cried silent tears, tried to conceal real scars but he knew they were all there
But he was pushing away his own pain
As he asked her if she was okay, she wiped her eyes and said
I am fine, there was just something in my eye
Thats when he asked her if she was feeling as hollow as he was
She wanted so much to fall away into his arms and bury her face in his shoulder
But she knew better, she knew he would break too
She said, Im not hollow but I break easily, and Im willing to save you if youre willing to save me
