Why is it wrong to love her

As I sit here with tears in my eyes
I pray to God that you may relize
How much I love you and need you by my side.

I ask God up above to help me get over you
He smiles at me and says trust me
Child I will see you through.

God says to me I am sorry you two cannot be
Please dont ever lose faith in me.

Loving her is not wrong
Being her lover is like singing the wrong song.

Just be her friend and help her along
Show her your love is strong.

I am sorry you two cant be together
I will be here through the storms you will weather.

    Love this stanza.When God said that he will see you through, you can count on him to do so.He never leave us to bear our burdens alone.

    ^^ that line was my fav. This poem, it is awesome. It has so much emotion (again) and it flows though perfectly and ur rhyme scheme was really excellent in this poem. Really enjoyed the read. 5/5

    I think one those worst feelings in the world is not being able to be with the one you love, or that person not loving you the same way....its so heart breaking, undescribeable...beautiful poem, seemed like there was an aswer to heart break
