These Endless Hallways

by Kyle   Jul 7, 2008

As I search for you through the many halls that lay ahead
The sounds of your voice slowly get louder
The memories we once shared burn away
What has happened to us?
We were once filled with so much love and bliss
That love, that bliss, they have vanished, left without a single trace

I run from hall to hall, confused by where I am
My only navigation is the sounds of your voice
Memory after memory replay in my head
Haunting me, making me feel regret
Regret for what Ive done to let this happen
For letting you leave,

Hall after hall, each one another memory
As I turn the corner it burns away
I'm as lost as ever,
I need you, I love you, you needed me, you loved me,
Those feelings you once had are fading away
Slowly leaving me unaccompanied by them

I turn another corner and find you at the end,
I run as fast as I can, Heart pounding, I want us to be right
I want what we had back, I want you to be happy once more
I continue to run after you
Your so close but yet so far away,
You slowly begin to fade away leaving me to sprint across this long hall
Come back to me my love so that we may love once more...

You vanish leaving me here alone,
I do not know what to do but hope to hear your voice once more
Hope to hear it so that you possibly direct to me to-wards you
To let us love once again,
I shall wait in these endless hallways,
Wait for your voice..
